After successfully delivering performance-proven ruthenium sensitizers for more than 15 years, Solaronix is glad to introduce our first organic dye. Sensidizer SQ2 inaugurates Solaronix’ new pure organic dye product line, becoming the first commercially available pure organic dye for Dye Solar Cells. Sensidizer SQ2 confirms our commitment to innovate in the chemical components field.
Sensitizer SQ2, which is a squaraine derivative, gives impressive blue to green colored solar cells enhancing our customers choice for eye-popping products. We hope to lead open the way to alternative colors and dye compositions for the future advances in the DSC industry. Possible applications are tandem cells that employ several dyes, and solar cells with tailored light transmission.
